Adreco Plastics is delighted to have been named as finalists in two categories in the 2023 Plastics Industry Awards. The nominations are for Supplier Partnership – Toolmaker – in partnership with VENTETE – and Sustainability Initiative of the Year, for a project with CURIO Group. The awards ceremony will take place on Friday 17 November 2023 at the InterContinental Hotel, Park Lane, London.
The two nominations for Adreco Plastics come after several years of success at the Plastics Industry Awards for the plastic injection moulding specialists. Last year, Adreco Plastics won the Best Consumer Product Design category in partnership with VENTETE. Two years ago, the company was named winner of the Supplier Partnership – Toolmaker accolade.
Adreco Plastics has worked with inflatable cycle helmet manufacturer, VENTETE for many years, helping create a revolutionary inflatable/collapsible cycle helmet that combines safety with aesthetic design and durability. The joint project will be examined by the judges of the Supplier Partnership – Toolmaker award to assess the effectiveness of the partnership working and collaboration that has taken place.
Meanwhile, Adreco Plastics has also been working with CURIO Group to develop a closed-loop recycling system for filter nozzles in the water treatment process. These are an essential part of the infrastructure that delivers drinking water to people across the UK. The collaboration has the potential to achieve staggering amounts of CO2 savings in the future, which is why it has been chosen as a finalist for Sustainability Initiative of the Year.
