We’re delighted to announce that Adreco Plastics has been shortlisted for the Material Sustainability Award 2025 at the Plastics Industry Awards.
This recognition celebrates our collaboration with Westgate Labs, where we developed the UK’s first 100% compostable veterinary diagnostic kit container. For decades, diagnostic kits have relied on single-use plastics. By replacing these with BioGaer 5530 (a UK-made, plant-based biomaterial) we’ve shown that sustainability and performance can go hand-in-hand.

- A breakthrough that proves biomaterials can succeed in regulated, high-performance applications.
