Adreco Plastics is proud to be named as a sponsor of AFC Dunstable Blues Under-8s team for this season (2022-23). The boys team plays in the CJS league and practises every Saturday at the club’s grounds at Creasy Park Stadium in Dunstable. The sponsorship is part of Adreco Plastics’ stated commitment to supporting and working alongside community groups and good causes in and around Bedfordshire.

AFC Dunstable was founded in 1981 under the name Old Dunstablians Football Club. Famous former members of the club include the Hollywood actor, Gary Cooper, who attended Dunstable Grammar School for a time in the early 1900s. The club changed its name to AFC Dunstable in 2003/04 – the same year in which it launched its youth policy and began a successful youth football programme.

AFC Dunstable is an officially. Accredited FA Charter Standard Community Club, due to its aims to raise standards in grass roots football and provide opportunities for young footballers to learn skills and develop confidence in a safe and supportive environment.

Today, AFC Dunstable runs several thriving youth teams for boys and girls from Under 7s to Under 18s. Adreco Plastics is one of several organizations supporting these youth teams this football season by providing resources and encouragement to help young players stay fit and improve their football skills.

Sam Hill at Adreco Plastics says: “We are delighted to be an official sponsor of the AFC Dunstable Blues Under-8s this season. Our staff are keen to support local community groups of this kind. We wish the team well and look forward to watching them in action on the pitch in the coming weeks and months.”
