Adreco Plastics is thrilled to have been nominated as a finalist in the 2024 Plastics Industry Awards. The nomination is for Supplier Partnership – Toolmaker – in partnership with Global Access Diagnostics. An awards ceremony with black tie dinner and champagne reception will take place at the InterContinental Hotel, Park Lane in London on Friday 22 November 2024.
Now a familiar name in the Plastics Industry Awards, Adreco Plastics has won accolades in 2017, 2021, 2022 and 2023. If successful again in November, it will be an impressive five wins (with 4 consecutive wins) for the plastic injection moulding specialists. In 2023, Adreco Plastics won the Supplier Partnership – Toolmaker category in association with VENTETE.
Adreco Plastics has been collaborating with Global Access Diagnostics for many years on a home diagnostic dual test system. The concept has been in development since 2016, when the two companies began work on a single healthcare testing device. Now, this has evolved into an innovative device that can test any two pathogens at the same time using the same patient sample. The system uses lateral flow technology that was inspired and informed by rapid diagnostics techniques developed during the Covid-19 pandemic.
